So much for grants of remission in the
cases abovementioned: now for cautions as to the application of
them respectively.
Art. 151. Specially applying caution the first.
Needful and obtainable public service. Appropriate caution, caution establishing in the character of condition sine quotes
non the circumstances adequate assurances persuasions following, namely.
1. That, by the attending hand in question the service in question
will be rendered.
2. That by unattending hands it will not be rendered:
that is to say, either not at all, or at least not so effectually
and early need render the service proposed to be purchased a
dear purchase.
3. That it be sufficiently ascertained, that the crime was not committed, for the prospect given
in confidence of obtaining by this matter.
