<p>The reason of my <del>mentioning this</del> here endeavouring<lb/>
 
to bring to your Lordships view the multiplicity<lb/>
 
of the battles I had to fight at the same time<lb/>
is that a certain degree of intricacy that will<lb/>
unavoidably present itself <add>be produced</add> <del>in the <gap/> grown<lb/>

of the general plan of the campaign, may be recognized<lb/>
in time, and the requisite allowance made<lb/>
