1820 Novr 28
J. B. to Baron de Lessert 3

Within this About a twelvemonth he has ago I read in heard from the
Newspaper his marriage with a lady not known to
me and with her he is established for some time at
Paris (an abode place of abode which the state of his finances render a rather more
convenient abode one than London) occupied on the completion
of his history of the Spanish Revolution as above
mentioned. The direction he gave me t'other day is
N<hi rend="superscript">o 26 Rue des Moulins.</hi>

The liberty I am thus taking with you is a two part
altogether unasked and unexpected. it would be a real satisfaction
to me to bring together two men in the letter to D. de la Rochef[oucaul]t insert in their different spheres so worthy of
each other: but I would not attempt have more respect
every respect for both of you forbad my annoying either of
you by a letter of introduction, which I have not no title to give, and the which it might be unpleasant
to the one to receive, or the other to deliver: I should
therefore any intercourse have place, it is with you that
it will commence.

In crossing the Pyrenees, he had an interview with my
Brother who has just become a Frenchman by the purchase
of an Estate of about 2,500 Acres with not far from Montpellier called Restinclieres
not far with a Chateau upon it, not order
at which at which when put in a little better order than it is in at present (keeping an apartment at Montpelier) he prepares
to fix his residence: labouring, according to his
means of all sorts, in the introduction of improvements of
all sorts which will thus afford an etat, as well as
an occupation, to his only son about aged about
21. For some facilities in regard to the introduction of
his old furniture from home together with new invented implements of
agriculture and perhaps some little machinery, he had, I know
not on what ground in respect of feasibility, looked to his
old friend the Duc de Richelieu : whatever his choice waswas, the article in the Newspapers kept mentioning the Duc's being succeeded by M. de Blaens, makes me apprehensive of M being at an end.

This is not to be in the Letter to the Duke de la Rochefoucauld or that to the Admiral
