I have a right title, a good title to a certain horse, to a
certain house to anything (that is to the cluster of
rights which the law permitts me to exercise in relation
to it) I have a good title to it if in my favour with relation to the horse or
the house, any one of article in in the list of collative events has
taken place, no article having then or since taken taken place
of those of which stand in the list of collative ablative events
is composed.

The horse is not in my own possession: but in the
possession of the Defendent who refuses to deliver it
to me. I make my demand against him at law.
I become plaintiff in a suit by which I apply to the Judge
praying of him to apply employ his authority so to order matters
that have possession of his my horse. Material subject
matter of this my demand; the horse: intellectual or ideal
subject matter of the same demands the rights exercisable
in and in relation to the horse: ground of my demand
some one or other in the list of collative events having in
my favour the effect of conferring on me a title to this
my horse: this the positive ground of my demand; the negative
the absence the hon-existence of the several ablative events any
of which would suffice have sufficed to defeat or put an end to
the title conferred in me by the collative event.

In preferring my demand, my , I alledge,
explicitly or implicitly the at the same time the existence
of some one such collative event, and the non-existence of
all such ablative ones.
