C
Punishments

Puffer's throne a seat resting upon a pile of full-blown
bladders, with back and sides made of bladders.

Strife-sowers cushion – He who sow strife among his
neighbours shall reap a harvest of thorns to make a cushion
for himself.

Bribe-taker: and so according to the different shapes in
which a bribe may shew itself.

It might be a part of the sentence that a picture
should be taken of this scene, and hung up in some
public place according to the nature of the office occupied by the
person to whom the bribe was given or offer'd.

If an alleviated degree of the same kind of punishment
were wanted, the picture might be painted without
making the exhibition.
