All comprehensive Properties desirable in a Code
1. Appropriate aptitude as to
a Matter.
2. Cognoscibility, as to
Form.

[Appropriate] Aptitude and cognoscibility — in into these three this
words expression may be condensed seen the qualities requisite and sufficient
on in the part of a body of law: [aptitude with reference to the
collation generation of maximum of happiness in so far as depended
upon the covering given to that part of the field the part travelled
over of the universal field travelled over taken in hand by the order in question;]
aptitude being a term word

properties, but neither
methodizes nor denominates
them.
Examples.

Of the unprecedented clearness and comprehensiveness of the views
taken by Mr Humphreys of that part of the field of law which he
has taken in hand, his work the five pages of his introduction
afford present the most incontestable proof: seldom indeed has so large a quantity
of new and valuable instruction been condensed into so small a space.
In appropriate aptitude the above two phrases may be seen the expression of the two
distinguishable objects to the encompassing of which his the masterly
hand has been directed: yet neither at the same time so it is that neither in those
same pages neither these phrases nor the equivalent of them are to be
found.
