J.B. to France on Majority

Look at the history of the English Parliament. Was
there ever an instance in wh so much as a single
instance in which a measure detrimental to the interest
of the community was had or was ever char
alledged or is now suspected to have had for its cause
the predominance of members of too early an age,
whether by means of their speeches or their votes?
Was there ever so much as an instance where
so much as any the slightest inconvenience had
for its cause the youth of any members
in the instance of this or that member taken singly
this or that mode of behaviour of which the relative
immaturity of his age appears to have been the cause?
Look at long as you please, no such will instance
you find.

Look now to the several States of the Anglo American
Union. the results will be the same here the
age required is 25 years

Look at the House of In the Assembly body
in which deputies from all the States are mixt together –
in a word in the Congress, in that one of the two branches of it which is called the
House of Representatives, the result will be the same true it is that the age required is
25 years.

True it is that in Look to that branch which

of the particular sort of business for the transaction of
which the trustees in question are employed.
