<p><head>&sect;.  <hi rend="underline">Fraud obviated</hi></head></p>
<p>Art. 1.  On the occasion of inspection, a fraud against which<lb/>
the Judge will be upon his guard is confederacy between<lb/>
two or more persons for the purpose of obtaining for themselves<lb/>
or others undue information at the charge of a<lb/>
third person, the confederates engaging for this purpose<lb/>
in a feigned suit one against another, in a feigned suit.</p>
<p>Art. 6.  <del>If</del> In case of his entertaining a suspicion to this effect<lb/>
the Judge will examine the party or parties in this view<lb/>
and in consequence either <del>refuse</del> <add>grant</add> the mandate <del><gap/></del><lb/>
refuse it absolutely, or in the epistolary mode or by <unclear>accusation</unclear><lb/>
apply himself to learn from the individual in whose custody<lb/>
