<p>Art. 1.  As on the part of a party to the suit so on the<lb/>
part of an extraneous witness, every act of judicial<lb/>
mendacity is a punishable offence.  For the <add>compensation and</add> punishment<lb/>
see Ch. &sect;.</p>

known, he is thereupon at the instance of any party<lb/>
bound to cause make entry of such his opinion in<lb/>
the record.</p>
<p>Art. 5.  Spontaneously any one of the above <add>condemnatory</add> opinions<lb/>
may also be declared by the Judge:  definitively, if it in<lb/>
<add>relation to the this imputation, the</add> party being present has been heard in his defence;  <add>if not present</add> provisionally<lb/>
