Items of it are
1. Expence by Loss of time. In the
case of the production and vast majority
composed of the productive and
other profit seeing classes
As in the vast majority expence by loss of time
is the loss by the amount
of its being of what
would otherwise have
been received.</note>

Art. or 12 II. As to expence. 1. Under the head
of expence the first item is that which consists in loss of
time: employ loss of time by employing in the abovementioned
unprofitable ways the time which otherwise might and in
most cases would have been employed in productive labour.

2. Expence on journeys
and demurrage, over and
above time <sic>expence</note>

2. Next comes the expence if any of the journey of carriage to and fro, together
with the difference between what would have been the expence expenditure

at home, and the actual expenceexpenditure during the journeys and

the demurrage.

3. Expence of professional
assistance where employed.

Of the expence of professional assistance, if in the Agent if the individual be at once able
and able willing and able to broker any or professional
of the compensation amount is subject to various uncertainties.

1. First suppose him the mode word, and the Defendant accordingly paying the attendance at the Judicature.
Here, as per Ch VIII § supposing him at no expence on this <del.,gap/.,/del> account he cannot be destitute of the any

assistance. But if in his view of the matter he stands in need
of a professional assistant of his own choice here will be the
expence of paying for his assistance during the ,
and if to take bring in consideration of confidence
derived from previous acquaintance he brings from
have in addition to the time employed in to the will be expence of the
journeys with compensation for the time employed on

them as above.

On the other hand In case of the epistolary mode these items are
in great part saved. But per contrà the most no such surety
sufficient assistance being to be had at a distance from or
at the Judicatory, the need of such assistance, or of a
professional proxy instead of a professional assistant will be
more likely to have place in the case of this mode than
in the case of the oral mode.
