Conditions in life<lb/>

1. Domestic.<lb/>
2. Political.</p>

Domestic are eight,<lb/>
running in pairs, viz.<lb/>
1. Husband &amp; Wife<lb/>
2. Parent &amp; child.<lb/>
3. Master and Servant.<lb/>
4. Guardian &amp; Ward.</p>

In each pair, two correlative<lb/>
conditions –<lb/>
obligation in the one<lb/>
member corresponding<lb/>
with right in the<lb/>
other, and vice versa.</p>

In the assertion of<lb/>
the existence of a<lb/>
right, the assertion<lb/>
of the existence of an<lb/>
actual state of things<lb/>
is included.</p>

Condition in life,<lb/>

Person in <hi rend="underline">possession</hi><lb/>
of it as of a portion<lb/>
of land, &amp;c.</p>
