Forgery

24. One copies falsifies
a copy of a deposition
upon record by erazing
the words, that did, whereby
the deposition is
made more positive.

25. Devise to as for life,
remainder to B. in fee,
C. writing the will omits
the estate for life.

26. A. alters a deed to
his own prejudice – making
the sum less: or
endorses exchequer bills
as received for customs,
or omits to insert in
a will &c. a legacy, the devise
not being altered
thereby.

29. Or writes a will for
a person non sane and
delivers it to him.

30. A. gives to the drawee
of a bill of exchange
a receipt in a false name
as for A's own name for
the contents of the bill,
such like being endorsed
in blank, done fraudulently
the escape acted on
though no additional need
it be thereby gained
to the prisoner.

name, assumed by the
party at the time for the
purpose of fraud to avoid
detection, though credit
was given to the person of
