The painter or sculptor being themselves all well in the same
mould, one and the same psychological serves alike for all
Judges. One a little tall another this or that other not quite so tall: one a little plump
another not quite as plump: one a little firm this or that other not
quite so firm: such are the only differences:

Every lawyer considers
he has a vested interest
in abuse

Exceptions excepted, every lawyer regards himself as having
a vested interest in abuse in whatever classes it is profitable
to him

On the present occasion
suppression the only
effectual remedy likely
to be employed

On the present occasion it is b the chance is but too
great that suppressing all instead of the disorder it is
to the only effectual remedy that suppression will be applied.
But the frustration will be but temporary, sooner or later
the public species having at length imbibed the requisite light
will burst forth with a force not to be resisted. England is
not America, nor Spain, nor Russia.
