<p>Expositive</p>
 
<p>Art 1.  Defensive rebellion is where, with or<lb/>
without the intervention of the judicial authority,<lb/>
the sovereign power in the exercise of its functions,<lb/>
being <add>or supposed to be</add> in the act or determination to apply on<lb/>
a certain occasion physical force, constraint<lb/>
or restraint to the person or property of a certain<lb/>
individual or aggregate of individuals,<lb/>
– a person – the rebel – without intention of usurpation<lb/>
or transference concurs in the endeavour,<lb/>
by <del>play</del> resistance to prevent the execution of such<lb/>
design on the part of the legislature.</p>
<p>Art 2.  Instructional and expositive.</p>
<p>The observations which apply as per<lb/>

§. 1 Defensive Rebellion

Expositive

Art 1. Defensive rebellion is where, with or
without the intervention of the judicial authority,
the sovereign power in the exercise of its functions,
being or supposed to be in the act or determination to apply on
a certain occasion physical force, constraint
or restraint to the person or property of a certain
individual or aggregate of individuals,
– a person – the rebel – without intention of usurpation
or transference concurs in the endeavour,
by play resistance to prevent the execution of such
design on the part of the legislature.
