<p>Art. 4. When any Metasylum man or woman<lb/><note>4<lb/>-- and after three such<lb/>certificates running,<lb/>declarations of <hi rend="underline">absolute</hi><lb/><hi rend="underline">emancipation</hi> --</note><lb/>has obtained for three years without interruption three such<lb/>certificates of good-behaviour as aforesaid, the Governor may<lb/>at any time at his discretion annex to such Certificates a<lb/>Declaration of absolute emancipation or discharge, which<lb/>may be according to the Form marked [E. 3.] and of<lb/>which the effect shall be that such certificated person<lb/>shall no longer be bound to make up any such election<lb/>as aforesaid.</p>
 
<p>Art. 5. Notwithstanding such emancipation<lb/><note>5<lb/>-- their right to the<lb/>Metasylum remaining --</note><lb/>the emancipated person's right of being engaged in the<lb/>Metasylum from year to year shall continue.</p>
 
<p>Art. 6. Also the Governor's Bondsmanship<lb/><note>6<lb/>-- also the Governor's<lb/>Bondsmanship --</note><lb/>for him or her in respect of Post-liberation Felonies:<lb/>and that although no such engagement in the Metasylum<lb/>should have taken place.</p>

Art. 4. When any Metasylum man or woman
