<p>I have been fitting for War, as well as the Circumstances<lb/>admit those cursed <sic>Gallies</sic> on which the Empress and<lb/> her Suit came from <sic>Kioff</sic>, worse contrived they<lb/> could not be: but some of their faults were radical<lb/>I flatter myself that they will row at least as fast<lb/> again as they would in their former state. They <lb/> fight from 8 to 10 Guns, 3 pounders, and one <lb/> brass kind of Mortar, or rather <sic>caranade</sic>, carrying <lb/> 44-pound Shell.
