your being under anxiety on my account, on
hearing of so desperate an action in this Neighbourhood.
I have been long enough here to receive answers
to the Letters I wrote you from hence at my arrival
but uncertain of my stay here. I was afraid of my
missing my Letters by making them come here,
so that they remain at Petersburg.

in upon you the 11th of January, when I flattered
myself you would be assembled together I must

Sir, of the impatience I feel, when I indulge

the most affectionate respect
Your dutiful Son
J Bentham
