Whitchurch Hants Octr. 20th. 85
Sir
The rents of the Garden on Frogg
Island being due on Old Michaelmas Day, I waited on
Doctor Benwith to pay it, He inform'd me that Old
Skiat had told him he see you in Town some time
ago & that you had appointed him to receive your Rent
in his shack — As I could not believe that to be the
case have not troubled myself about him, but shall
be glad you'l accept of an Order on my Agent in London
for the Sum due for the last Year & by letting me know
who I am to pay it to in future. You'l much oblige.
 Sir, Your humble Servant
 Richard Jeivers
P.S. Shall be much oblig'd to you
for an Ansr by return of Post
