<p>When a thing <add>sort</add> of either class is recognized to be bad,<lb/>
to be meet for reprobation, <del>the idea of</del> a sentiment of displeasure<lb/>
<del><gap/></del> is by the principle of association called forth by <add>at</add> the mention<lb/>
of the name. This sentiment is attached in the first instance<lb/>
towards <add>to</add> the thing itself: but from thence it passes on immediately<lb/>
and insensibly to all such persons between whom and<lb/>
that same thing <add>any relation of</add> a certain kind has place</p>
