Proper Appropriate, and fit for free from all obscurity is the use made of the
words Debtor and Creditor, as above, the use made of them
the appellations made of them, the significations in which they
are Here follow the respectively employed

Here follow the several improper and absurd uses
made of these in the language of Italian Bookkeeping: with
the proper substitutes which are respectively required by them,
and by which the import of them is communicated and
rendered intelligible to persons at large, to whom antecedently
to this exposition and explanation whatsoever is peculiar in
that language is unintelligible: presenting to their conception
nothing better than absurdity and nonsense.
