Now as to diffusion
it will be as facilitation

1. Now then as to the maximization of the diffusion of
posology: or as the title of the work says Mathematics (meaning
posology) made easy: in one word facilitation, for facilitation being
mainly in the labour and time employed in laying in a given quantum
of the stock in question and thence
a relation born, the number of the persons in whose minds the
information is planted will be the measure of the degree of facilitation given
given to it.

distinguishable means of facilitation employed by the individual in question, and the efficiency

3 In the first place Among such of these means as has presented
themselves to my view enquiry research research, I shall in the first place, bring
to view those which present themselves as applicable to both branches
of posology: in the next place those which present present themselves as
applicable to Alegomorphics alone; in the third and last
place, those which present themselves as applicable to Morphoscopics alone

employed applied in the ordinary
form to the subject.

4 Means of facilitation, which present themselves, as applicable to
Alegomorphics and Morphoscopic both are as follows:

1. Elimination or say defalcation of useless matter — of all matter not applicable
to practical use: that is to say to the diffusion or enhancement of other branches
of art-and-science as are respectively in possession of increase
and with independent use. But, to understand what this matter
is, reference must be made to the two branches — to Alegomorphics and
Morphoscopics severally considered

2. Maximization of the quantity of the matter of discourse
in the ordinary and unlearned or say un form applied to this purpose
in preference to that which wears the scientific form peculiarly appertaining
to the branch of art and science posology: applied to this purpose: namely that is to
so long as wherever and so long as by so doing, contribution to
this purpose is found to be made — facilitation accordingly effected
