Repeat this same process by proceeding
from the middle line to that part of the
compound figure which is nearest to you;
you will then have another equilateral
triangle, of exactly the same dimensions
as the first former: but with the
point opposite to the middle line
now nearestr to you than the
middle line is: whereas, in the
first-formed triangle, the point
opposite to the middle line was
further from you than the
middle line was.
