And whereas by an Act of the 25th Year of
the reign of his late Majesty King George the second inled
"An Act for the better relief and Employment
"of the Poor in the Parishes of St Margaret
"and St John the Evangelist in the City of Westminster;

two Parishes are united and incorporated as
trading the said purposes and the said concerns
are are in pursuance of the said Act managed by a joint Vestry of the sees
composed of the Vestrymen Inhabitants of the said two Parishes
in the Vestry Room of the Parish Church of St Margarets
aforesaid assembled and the concerns of the
Poor in particular are managed by fifty persons
under the controul of the said Joint Vestry by
fifty persons intituted Governors and Directors
of the Poor nominated thirty of them by the
Churchwardens and Vestry men of St Margarets aforesaid and the other
twenty by the Churchwardens and Vestrymen of St Johns aforesaid
And whereas doubts have arisen whether the provision
in the said Act of the 7th July 1794 thereby for the year of
the reign of his present Majesty can be deemed to
extend to Land in the state of Waste and subject
to rights of Common And whereas no purchase
of any ground for the purposes of the said Act hath
as yet been made
