Act 4. The <add>self-<del>supple</del></add>suppletive function. As to his own <lb/>
office, the Judge is, in each grade, not only authori-<lb/>
zed but bound to keep in adequate exercise: <add><gap/>function</add> name<lb/>
-ly, to the end that, at no time, for want of <unclear>inerrdu</unclear><lb/>
<unclear>-alt</unclear> in readiness for the exercises of the other several<lb/>
functions, failure of justice, or any undue delay may<lb/>
have place. By acceptance of his office, the Judge <add>as well as</add>and<lb/>
every other Magisterial officer of the Judiciary, con<lb/>
-tracts for the execution of the whole <add>of the</add>business <add>belonging to his office,</add> with<lb/>
every degree of promptitude <add>of decision and action</add> consistent with <unclear>rectitude</unclear>.


<hi rend="underline">Directive function</hi>
Act 6. In both grades, the <del>directive</del> function has<lb/>
for its subject matter, on the part of all other offices,<lb/>
Magisterial as well as Ministerial, belonging to the<lb/>
Judiciary, all such acts, the performance of which,<lb/>
by them, in their several characters<add> and solicitations</add>, is requisite for<lb/>
the due and adequate exercise of the Judge's executive<lb/>
function, as per Act 1.<lb/>


<hi rend="underline">Inspective function</hi>
Act 7. So likewise their <del><unclear>Inspective</unclear></del> function: and in<lb/>
particular <add>in relation to</add>the exercise given by the Registrar to the<lb/>
principal functions belonging to  his office; namely<lb/>
the statistic <add>or say the <unclear>quantitative</unclear> and the</add> and recordative functions. <unclear>The recordative</unclear><lb/>
is <unclear>aemulation</unclear> <del>for the</del> with a view to conservation.<lb/>
<unclear>Mediation</unclear> suggestion function
<unclear>Act <del>8</del></unclear> In both grades, not only the Judge, but the<lb/>
other Magisterial officers, exercise this <del><unclear>mediation</unclear></del> sug<lb/>
<del>-gestive</del> function. In both grades, it has for its subject<lb/>
matter, the state of the law in it's whole extent.<lb/>
Act 9. <del><unclear>Conservation</unclear></del>

function, the Judge, and the Registrar, each in both<lb/>

-gestive function. In both grades, it has for its subject
matter, the state of the law in it's whole extent.
Act 9. Conservation Act 9. Officially informativeandapproximately communication function. In the exercise of this
function, the Judge, and the Registrar, each in both
grades, demand with or without demand as the case may require, render what assistance is in
their power, to their fellow Judges and Registrars,to the Legislation Minister, and tothe
Justice Minister in the exercise of this same func
-tion. -tions: asin general to all functions when communication of the articles in question is now flung to the end. See Ch. W.X.S. Ch. XII. S.
