humbly sheweth &#x2014;</head>
<p>That Your Memorialist, having understood, that<lb/>
the obtainment of a portion of the Waste called<lb/>
Tothill Fields (in relation to which <hi rend="underline">Notices</hi> had, by<lb/>
direction of Your Lordships, been inserted by Your<lb/>
Lordships' Sollicitor, in divers Newspapers in the<lb/>
course of October last, declaration of the intention of<lb/>
bringing into Parliament a Bill for the purchase of<lb/>
such portion for the use of the intended Penitentiary<lb/>
Establishment) is now regarded as impracticable; and<lb/>
<hi rend="underline">that</hi> for reasons which would be equally conclusive<lb/>
with regard to any other Lands subject to <hi rend="underline">rights of</hi><lb/>
<hi rend="underline">common</hi>, find himself confined, in regard to any remaining<lb/>
propositions he may have to submit to Your<lb/>
Lordships on the same subject, to Lands <hi rend="underline">in separate</hi><lb/>
<hi rend="underline">ownership</hi>: viz: to such lands of that description as lie<lb/>
within the four Counties contiguous to the City of London;<lb/>
all which are, by the Act of the 7<hi rend="superscript">th</hi> of July 1794, placed<lb/>
at the disposal of Your Lordships for the purpose<lb/>
aforesaid, subject only to certain limitations, and exceptions<lb/>
therein mentioned.</p>

humbly sheweth —

That Your Memorialist, having understood, that
