<head>APPENDIX.</head>


<p>TABLE of FEES to be charged in HIS MAJESTY'S GENERAL HOUSE, as
regulated by the Right Honourable the Commissioners appointed to that
effect by the Act of Parliament, passed in the Third Year of the Reign of
King GEORGE IV. c. 62.</p>
<p>I. - Inspection and Examination of Books of Record, and their Originals
or Warrants.
1. For the Inspection of each book of Record, to which there is no proper Minute Book
or Index of Reference, there shall be charged a fee of one shilling.
2. For the Inspection and Examination of each book of Record to which there is a
corresponding Minate Book or Index of Reference, there shall be charged a fee of two
shillings and sixpence.
3. For the Inspection of every original Instrument, Deed or Warrant, preserved in the
General Register House, there shall be charged a fee of seven shillings and sixpence.</p>
<p>II. - Inspection and Examination of Minute Books and Indexes of Public Records.
1. For searches in the Minute Books or Indexes of each Class of the Public Records,
there shall be charged the following Fees for each and every such Search;-Viz.
For any period under one year, a fee of two shillings and a sixpence.
For any period extending from one year to ten years inclusive, a fee of five shillings.
For any period extending from eleven to forty years inclusive, a fee of ten shillings.
For any period exceeding forty years, a further fee at the same rate as the preceding.</p>
<p>For Inspection and Examination of the printed Chronological Abridgement of the
Registers of Seisins, general and particular, subdivided into county arrangement, there
shall be charged the following fees;-Viz
For any period, if not more than one year, a fee of five shillings.
For any period, extending from one year to ten years inclusive, a few of ten shillings.
For any period, extending from ten to forty years inclusive, a fee of one pound.
For periods exceeding forty years, a further fee at the same rate as the preceding.</p>
<p>For Inspection and Examination of the Alphabetical Indexes of Reference of the printed
Abridgements of Seisins, there shall be charged an additional fee at the same rate as for the printed Abridgements ; viz.-Of five shillings, ten shillings, one pound and upwards (as the case may be.)</p>
<p>For Inspection and Examination of the Alphabetical Indexes of the Register of Abbreviates of Adjunction, or the Registers of Inhibition, general and particular, each a fee of ten shillings.</p>
<p>III.- Exhibition and Transmission of Registers or original Deeds and Warrants.
1. For the Inspection of every original Deed or Warrant preserved or recorded in the
General Register House, shall be charged a fee of seven shillings and sixpence.
2. For every original Deed or Warrant transmitted or given up in pursuance of the Acts
and Orders of the Lords of Council and Session, there shall be a charged fee of ten shillings and sixpence.
3. For any book of Record that shall be exhibited in any of the Supreme Courts of the
kingdom, or in courts of the service of Heirs, there shall be charged a fee of ten shillings and sixpence.</p>
<p>IV.- Extracts and Certified Official Copies.
1. For Extracts or Certified Official Copies from the Records of Parliament, Privy
Council or Exchequer, or from the original warrants of those several Records, there shall be charged per sheet of three hundred words or under, as the case may be, a fee of ten shillings.
