<p>The servile writer of the <sic>Gheological</sic> articles in the Quarterly Review has not only ventured broadly to state in the last number of that publication that the representations of the enormous wealth of the <unclear>Jacob</unclear> Church are unfounded, but also sycophantically to insinuate that its most honourable of <unclear>lucrative</unclear> <del><unclear></unclear></del> <unclear><sic>preformants</sic></unclear> have been properly bestowed. By the <unclear>returns</unclear> lately made to an order of the House of Commons, it will appear that twelve <unclear>sees</unclear> <unclear>possess</unclear> G15,000 English <unclear></unclear> (round numbers) divided among them in nearly the following quantities: - </p><lb/> | |||
