2.  The <hi rend="underline">Possession</hi> or <hi rend="underline">hope</hi> of children<lb/>

3.  The <hi rend="underline">Use</hi> of his or her <hi rend="underline">Property</hi>.<lb/>

Condition of Parent to such<lb/>
<add>or such</add> a person are those derived from<lb/>
1.  The idea of the <hi rend="underline">extension</hi><lb/>
of his own <hi rend="underline">existence</hi> in the child.<lb/>
Pleasure of the Imagination<lb/>
2.  The <hi rend="underline">Recollection</hi> of the <hi rend="underline">pleasure</hi><lb/>
of the intercourse to which<lb/>
it (the child) owed its birth.<lb/>
Pleasure of Recollection.</p>
<p>III.<lb/>
Pleasures incident to the<lb/>
Condition of Husband or<lb/>
Wife, Parent, Child <add>or</add><lb/>
Relation to such or such<lb/>
a Person are those derived from<lb/>
1.  The <hi rend="underline">Succession</hi> or Prospect<lb/>
of Succession to his or her<lb/>
<hi rend="underline">Property</hi>.  Pleasures of<lb/>
Possession or Expectation.</p>

To the Condition of Guardian<lb/>
are those which are derived from<lb/>
1.  The power and interest<lb/>
derived from the management<lb/>
of his affairs.  Pleasures of<lb/>
the imagination, &amp; of the Mor. Sanction<lb/>

good management of his<lb/>
affairs.  Pleasures of the<lb/>
Moral Sanction.<lb/>

Evils of Imprisonmt: and Loss of Condition Domestic

The Evils resulting from the Forfeiture of the several Conditions following consist in
the loss of the Pleasures or the Advantages commonly annexed to the above Conditions, which

Pleasures of Advantages incident to the
Condition of Husband or
Wife to such or such a person are
those derived from
1. The Use of his or her Person.
2. The Possession or hope of children

or such a person are those derived from
1. The idea of the extension
of his own existence in the child.
Pleasure of the Imagination
