in every other instance of its being in existence
namely adequate power with adequate inducement to set it
to work. As to adequate power it has been place by the very
very supposition: and that supposition has been realized and
exemplified every where. As to adequate inducement,
this is all that remains to be calling for indication.

If by any causes or combination of mutually contributing causes

in readiness to receive the force of law from him or themthem
in whom it is by supposition, as above, to endure it with
that force

Love of others, hence beingesteem of others, admonition of others

others, these are sources of pleasure from within: and when
in a brperson so compared are above, these inducements have
place and that in quantity more than equivalent to that of
any force by which they may find them may find them

The pleasure attendant on the mere perception of strength
whether which ever be the seat of it namely b command

when not accompanied with any labour which he by whom who has
taken upon himself will feel himself at liberty whenever he pleases
to shake throw and rid himself of and there by ease himself of
witnesses all exaoccupation included and distinguished by the appellation of athletic
exercises: much more extensively will it be produced when
the inducements just mentioned have been attached to it, and rendered the of it
