<p>Considered in the character of an Offence, mismanagement<lb/>
of Fatherly Guardianship <add>Fathership</add> is where with<lb/>
relation to <add>the <del>government</del> direction of the conduct</add> a son or daughter of his own the same<lb/>
being within full age, the conduct of a Father is<lb/>
in such sort and degree prejudicial<hi rend="superscript">(1)</hi> to the interest<lb/>
and welfare of such his child, that it would be<lb/>
beneficial to the <add>joint</add> interest of such Father and such<lb/>
Child, that <del>the y</del> such direction should be taken out of<lb/>
the hands of the Father and the conduct of the Child<lb/>
either left in his or her own hands, or placed <del>in<lb/>
some other hands</del> in the hands of some other person<lb/>
or persons in the character of Guardian or Guardians.</p>
