The 3d Section is a saving Proviso regarding the Commissioners
of Sewers for London. Take the Bread Act 32. G. 2. for another example

The 11. is a Regulation merely of the Adjective kind, relating
to the competency of Evidence.

The first 1st 13. regard Builders as does a part of the 14th
The 13th makes an addition to the duty of Justices
of the Peace.

The 14th which is of itself a Volume regards Proprietors of Houses as such.
within the of Mortality & the Parishes of Marybone Jude
St Pancras & St Luke (at Chelsea all in Middex
It adds also to the duties of Officers of the following
descriptions — [1st] Mayor & Aldermen of London —
Justices of the Peace for [X] the Counties of Middex & [3] Surry & the
[4] Liberties of the City of Westminster & [5] Tower
of London. in Sessions Sheriffs of [6th] London & Middex
[7] of Surry [8] the "Sheriff or Bailiff" as he is called of the Tower of
London — The Town Clerk of [9] London — The
Clerk of the Peace of the Counties of [10] Middlex
[11] Surry [12] The & whoever Officiates as such in
[12th] Westr or [13th] the Tower.

It contains also several Houses Sundry regulations of the Adjective kind.

The 15th relates to the Justices of the Peace [in
their Sessions] in for Surry

The 16th relates to the same Officers as the are
enumerated in the 14th.

The 17th regards Proprietors & workmen Builders again, as also the
several Courts mentioned in the 14th

The 18th regards Proprietors & Builders

The 19th regards Proprietors & contains regulations
of the Adjective kind

The 20th & 21 regards Proprietors, & it adds to the Duties
of Churchwardens & Overseers of the several Parishes
within the Jurisdictions mentioned in the 14th
except that of the City & Liberties of London —
It adds also to the Duties of performable by the Mayor & Justices
of those Jurisdictions, singly.

The 21st adds to this

The 22d regards Proprietors

The 23d regards Proprietors Occupiers & Inmates within those districts & contains some regulations

of the Adjective kind

The 24 is an exception Proviso in favor of persons
employed about the building or repairing of Ships

The 25 & 26th regards add further to the duties of Churchwardens
& Overseers within in those districts — & it regards the
Proprietors, & adds to the duties performable by 2
Justices within any all of the Jurisdictions above mentioned.

The 27th adds like the preceding to the duties of Churchwardens &c & Justices
in the same manner as that preceding It gives rewards to Turncocks & Engine-keepers

28. adds to the Duties and Gives powers of single Aldermen or two
Common-Councilmen of the several Wards in London
& of Justices in the other Jurisdictions — it regards
Turncocks or Engine keepers & Churchwardens, &c as
the last.

29 regards Churchwardens &c as before — it regards
Occupiers and inmates of Houses, and it adds to
the duties of single Justices throughout, including
Mayor.

30 The does that which by it's own shewing was done
already by former Acts, & regards nobody. + + It enacts, that Parishes which were united by a former Act shall consider'd as one for the purposes of this Act

31 Adds to the powers of Inhabitants of Parishes
in Vestry.

32. Adds to the power of Inhabitants in Vestry, &
implicitly to that of Justices of the Peace who have
Jurisdiction in — that is to Justices in Pairs.

38 Gives Privilege to Firemen and adds to the
Duties of the Secretary of the Admiralty Office.

34 Gives Powers to Insurance-Offices — it regards Insurers
whether Owners or Occupiers or others

35 regards Servants — It adds to the Duties of Churchwardens
&c and of Justices in pairs — It contains
a regulation (respecting evidence) of the Adjective kind.

36 adds to the Duties of Constables and Beadles

37 regards Owners Occupiers & Inmates — it contains
clauses regulations of the Adjective kind.

38 & 39th regards The Issuers or Executors of Distress warrants I do not know very well who — it contains
nothing but regulations of the Adjective kind.

39 regards [implicitly] Builders & the Owners Occupiers & Inmates
Its contents contains nothing as the former.
