Ch. Fixation
§ Time for judicial operations

Occasions on which fixation, as applied to time
for the performance of judicial operations may be beneficially
applied, if due provision be made for local
circumstances. For a general rule an interval of a
certain length to wit so many days appointed: on the
last day of the operation be not performed the Judge, he
without need of application from the a party takes in hand the Register Book, pronounces the name of the
suit and states the causes efficient and rational of the
delay, with an indication of a succeeding day for performance
stating as well as circumstances allow the degree of its probability

The last day of every week let the Judge in his power as the Registrar
read the list of the suits the depending in their several stages, with
the Judge as the causes as named, giving a brief intimation of
the causes of delay, as above with the expectation as to the time of the
definitive decrees or any such intermediate stage and operation,
for which the suit presents a demand.
