The Tribunal of the First instance has decided,<lb/>that foreigners are subject to the French Courts when the plaintiff,<lb/>though a foreigner, is in company with a Frenchman.<lb/>M. M. Roberts and Langeois brought an action against<lb/>some English Physicians, laying their damages at 20,000<lb/>francs, for causing them to be deprived of the title of Apothecaries<lb/>to the English Embassy. The Defendants pleaded that<lb/>M. Roberts being a foreigner, like them, could not have<lb/>any claim for the interference  of the Tribunal.  The Tribunal,<lb/>however, decided against them.</p>

Paris Septr. 15. The Tribunal of the First instance has decided,
that foreigners are subject to the French Courts when the plaintiff,
though a foreigner, is in company with a Frenchman.
M. M. Roberts and Langeois brought an action against
some English Physicians, laying their damages at 20,000
francs, for causing them to be deprived of the title of Apothecaries
to the English Embassy. The Defendants pleaded that
M. Roberts being a foreigner, like them, could not have
any claim for the interference of the Tribunal. The Tribunal,
however, decided against them.
