In the title of this Section, Your Lordship sees at 3 Beginning, end,

the business shewn

once the commencement of this branch part of the business —
the termination — and on one part on the part of the higher powers the final cause
of it: an augmentation granted: had the grant employ'd
by the grantors themselves as a pretence for crushing the establishment
instead of increasing it: and the intended destruction not
only the result of the pretended increase, but the very object [which they had in view] for the purpose of which they announced it.
