Governor &#x2014; his periodical<lb/> Report to the<lb/>
King's Bench&#x2014;</note>
<p>Art.1. And Whereas powers so ample as those<lb/>
which will be possessed by such Governor ought to<lb/>
be kept in check by an adequate and never failing<lb/>
<sic>controul</sic> Be it enacted that on the first<lb/>
day of every term after the reception of the Prisoners<lb/>
or so soon after in each Term as conveniently<lb/>
may be, the Governor or his Deputy shall<lb/>
appear in the Court of King's Bench and shall<lb/>
then &amp; there present to the said Court as well as<lb/>
thereafter print &amp; publish at the Governor's <sic>expence</sic><lb/>
a Report, exhibiting in detail the whole state moral<lb/>
and medical of the Establishment: together<lb/>
with the economical state thereof, so far as the Public<lb/>
on behalf of the Prisoners shall therein be interested:<lb/>
and to the plan of such Report any such<lb/>
additions shall from time to time be made as the<lb/>
Court shall have thought fit to order.<lb/>

Report to the
King's Bench—

Art.1. And Whereas powers so ample as those
which will be possessed by such Governor ought to
be kept in check by an adequate and never failing
controul Be it enacted that on the first
day of every term after the reception of the Prisoners
or so soon after in each Term as conveniently
may be, the Governor or his Deputy shall
appear in the Court of King's Bench and shall
then & there present to the said Court as well as
thereafter print & publish at the Governor's expence
