That your Memorialist by the unexpected suspension
of the treaty aforesaid, at the time when he had
considered the same as concluded brought to a conclusion, has
for a twelvemonth been subjected to the above-mentioned
unproductive expence while the several of the
whensover it may take place profit
equal period whensoever it may when
the proposed undertaking receipt of the whatever profits
whatever they may amount to which in the same period he might
have reaped⊞ ⊞ therefrom by applying to engines constructed on the same principles by the application of the more advantageous power of a Steam Engine Engine therefrom have for during the same period
been already lost.

That the terms of the said instrument contained party existing treaty
which had never been objected to on any other
to which no objection had ever been made on
the part of the Right Honourable parties
gentlemen aforesaid on any other ground than
that of their the said terms appearing in some respects too burthensome to the in
some respects defended to your Memorialist, have thereby⊞ ⊞ by the said delay which has already intervened been
rendered much worse, which indefinite
above mentioned they should be, and that to an amount for which no adequate compensation can
well be made and will must of course be rendered worse and
worse by every further delay that may ensue.
