Governors &c of the Watch to send lists of Watchmen Patroles and Beadles to Commissioners under penalty of £10-
And be it enacted by the authority aforesaid that all and
every the Governors, Vestries, Trustees, Directors or other Managers or other persons
who have the appointment of the Watch within the several cities Parishes Liberties precincts and
places within the said district of the Metropolis, for the time
being, shall and they are hereby required, within ten days
after the appointment of the said Commissioners shall be
made and notified in the London Gazette to make and
return to the Secretary for the said Commissioners a true
list of the Names with the place of abode of the Watchmen
Patroles and Beadles appointed in and for their several
parishes, liberties, precincts and places, and as often as
there shall be any new appointment of watchmen
beadles or patroles appointed in and for the said parishes liberties
precincts or places to make and return to the said
Secretary, a true list of the name or names and place
or places of Abode of such new appointed Watchman
Beadle and Patrole or Watchmen Beadles and Patroles.
And if the said Governors Trustees Directors, or others
Managers or others who have the appointment of the Watch shall neglect or refuse so to do,
each, or any one of the said Governors, Trustees, Directors,
or other Managers or others who have the appointment of the Watch so neglecting in their
said respective parishes, liberties, precincts or places, shall
forfeit the sum of £10 upon conviction before a Justice and the same sums in like manner as often
of the peace as such neglect or refusal shall happen
