By a Loss Book<lb/>understand a Book<lb/>in which is made<lb/>entry of loss in all<lb/>shapes, with the <hi rend="underline">causes</hi>:<lb/>distinguishing<lb/>in each case whether the loss be<lb/><del>how</del> ascertained,<lb/>conjectured, <del>and</del> <add>or</add><lb/>unconjecturable.</p><p>17.<lb/>Art. 17. To each subject<lb/>matter, as above, there<lb/>may be a <hi rend="underline">Loss Sub book</hi>.</p><p>18.<lb/>Art. 18. As to things<lb/>moveable — <hi rend="underline">Serviceably<lb/>eliminated</hi> will<lb/>be those which are no<lb/>otherwise of use than<lb/>in so far as they are<lb/><hi rend="underline">consumed</hi>: <hi rend="underline">disserviceably</hi><lb/>eliminated, as<lb/>above, those, from the<lb/>elimination of which<lb/>no profit is in any<lb/>shape derived.</p><p><gap/> 19 Uses<lb/>Art. 19.
