Dear M.r Bentham
First as to your attach upon
my hand writing, It is not my Fault; I was
very ill educated, & never learn'd to

Life has been those who can write well
& yet write so carelessly, that Lady Lansdown
Miss Vernon & myself are sometimes half
an hour making out a particular word
But I cant express how much I am -oblig'd to you, When tho' you compare the
number of words to a Bill in Chancery,
you don't compare the thro' one
but upon the contrary are so good to sow That

your Ideas are never lost upon me, by
