<p>I have the honour to acquaint you, that I <sic>recieved</sic>

<del>y</del> a copy of your book <hi rend="underline">Panopticon</hi> containing the copper plates,

and the second volume <hi rend="underline">Post script</hi>. that <add>I</add> <sic>recieved</sic> also three copies of

a paper <hi rend="underline">outline of the plan ....</hi> As there was no writing

or direction <sic>accompagnying</sic> these productions, by which I could be

guided in the fulfilling of the authors intention, I <sic>begg</sic> the favour

to communicate to me your orders there about. I intend to send some

things to Holland in a few days, and must write to the society of <sic>scients</sic>

of Haarlem, of which I have the honour of being a member. If

it's your intention to present the copy now in my hands to that society

Dear Sir

I have the honour to acquaint you, that I recieved
y a copy of your book Panopticon containing the copper plates,
and the second volume Post script. that I recieved also three copies of
a paper outline of the plan .... As there was no writing
or direction accompagnying these productions, by which I could be
guided in the fulfilling of the authors intention, I begg the favour
to communicate to me your orders there about. I intend to send some
things to Holland in a few days, and must write to the society of scients
of Haarlem, of which I have the honour of being a member. If
it's your intention to present the copy now in my hands to that society
it will be convenient, either that you should send with it a letter to that
learned body or that you give me your orders about it. In the mean time
recieve my thanks for the oportunity you gave me of perusing this
valuable work, which, I think, contains very usefull Views worthy to
be followed by all wise governments
