That at each watch house a
book should be kept for
entering all informations of the
depredations committed in the district
to which each office watch house
may belong: That such informations
should comprise the
most material circumstances
relative to the depredation e g
the time at which it was
committed; the description of the
depredator if seen, or of the person
suspected and also of the
stolen property: That the books
mentioned be carried to the office
of the department to which the
watch house might belong, and
at that copied out: That the
whole of these copies be transmitted
to the central office arranged under
the heads of the several districts
and printed with all the dispatch
of a newspaper. That printed copies be
returned at on the next morning to each district; That
be publickly exhibitted at the
door of each watchhouse, and

establishment and to every pawn
