[Agreeable to direction received
from Mr Peake] I have made the proposed
inquiry and find there have been no regular
inspection of Convicts either here or at
Langston Harbour. Mr Graham the nominal Inspector not having
been on board either Hulk near in months
he was at Portsmh about three months
since but he did not come on board the Hulk

I cannot find any other person visits or inspects except the Capt<hi rend="superscript">n who has the
Charge</hi> — [you will have the goodness
to acquaint me if this information is
is sufficient. I am with Complimts
of the Season most truly
