An Estimate and particular of the loss and damage which will be
sustained by Solomon Chambers and which is demanded in consequence
of Notice to quit possession of his House and Premises on Mill Bank
given to him by Jeremy Benthsm Esq..<hi rend="underline">r dated 6th March 1800. —
By a patrole Agreement between M..<hi rend="underline">r Benjamin Hodges and the
said Solomon Chambers he was to hold the Premises which he now
occupies for the remainder of the Term which M..<hi rend="underline">r Hodges has therein of
which there is now unexpired about 4 Years — He has occupied these
premises upwards of twelve Years and upon the faith of the above mentioned
Agreement with M..<hi rend="underline">r Hodges made about 7 Years ago (during which
time he has had uniterrupted possession and his rent has not been raised)
he has built certain Sheds and Workshops for the convenience of his
business amounting nearly to the following Sums, viz;
A Shed fronting the Water on the South end of Forteys } £.d 41..0..0
House & enlarging the same according to the nearest estimation
A Shed in the lane behind Forteys House 39FtX28Ft Square } 50..0..0
Built of Timber upwards of 20 Feet high and a Saw
