SS4 Prior intrigues- Tergiversation of Mr Rose 14

been entered in the Treasury Books, for the giving Rose
of the Notices, preparatory to the introduction of
the Bill, then professed to be intended to be brought
in, for the appropriating a part of the Tothill Fields
to the use of the Penitentiary Establishment, as mentioned
already in SS.c.p .

Of the interview I do no better in point as
for giving a correct account of accuracy towards giving, as far as it goes, thence
by transcribing so much as relates to it out of a
letter written the next day, and designed to have been
sent to a parliamentary friend though as I am inclined to think from a
memorandum not actually sent - to as any body parthains

audience yesterday of Mr Rose - he would not hear either

Of what passed at the interview

In giving relating exhibiting the history of what the interview,
I can give no better pledge, so far as it goes for the accuracy of
it than the statements, than by transcribing so much
as relates to this subject, out of a letter written the
next day, and designed to have been sent to a Parliamentary
friend, though, as, (from a memorandum) I am inclined to
think, not actually sent to any body. The oneSome such
accident as that of a personal rencontre, may have, perhaps
prevented it.
