Origin of Trigonometry.
It was found by experience that

be ascertained without the trouble
of actual measurement: might
be ascertained in a word by inference:
by the relation which it was found
that the unmeasured part bore to

observations of this sort was to have
made so many discoveries in
that branch of art & science

process of times received in Greek
the name of Trigonometry — having for
its function the measurement of
