Extra regarding
§
Of the extra regarding branch of deontology what is the
practical use? To render each individual disposed
as far as may be to promote in and by the course
of his own conduct the welfare of the whole
community in question
Proceed to shew that it would be a hopeless
task to engage any man to sacrifice his own
personal interest taken in all its parts to
any other interest: all that can be done is
to bring to view and if possible augment
the force of such parts of his personal
interests as coincide with the more extensive
interest.
