cover: a subject many years ago considered and exhausted
by my Brother, as you will see in his book: and this has
been the case in other instances.
You will understand that my Brother is not
privy to any disposition of mine to make any such use
of his quondam official papers: they happen to be in my
custody, and the deed is mine. The constituted authorities
have not signified either to me or to my Brother
any desire on their part that any of these papers should
be kept secret, and if they had I should not pay any
regard to it.
