Cadiz Novr 22.
18th arrived here a
merchant vessel and a
gallion of war, both of
them from Vera Cruz
& Havannah. The gallion
has been sent with
dispatches & donations
to the amount of
100,000 Dollars. She has
also on board 20000
dollars to defray
& repairs with the intention
of her immediately returning
with such dispatches
& commands
as the supreme Central
Junta shall be pleased to
send to America. By
these two vessels we have
received the most flattering
accounts from the Havannah,
V. Cruz, Mexico &
all the other provinces
of that Kingdom. In all
parts the inhabitants
are animated with the
same enthusiasm &
loyalty, & offer donations
in proof of their attachment
to Ferdinand, &
their hatred to Napoleon.
All are de resolved to
to & sacrifice every
individual of whatever
rank, who shall deviate
in the smallest degree from
the discharge of his sacred
duties.
