3. That a sufficient portion be allotted to
the Parish of St

for the erection of a

3. That the whole of the Waste behind Rochester
Row be (including the spot of about
half are acre adjacent to the Bridewell ) be
also allotted to the Dean and Chapter:except that

4. Out of it be taken allotted to the Parish or Parishes of
a sufficient portion for the creation of a Poor House.

5. That the remainder, forming about 2/3
of the whole, be granted by the Dean and
Chapter to the Crown, on a lease for 1000
years (reserving the Manorial rights) for the
reception of the Penitentiary Establishment.

6. That in this grant be comprized the site of
the existing ruinous Poor House, called the Five
Chimnies: powers for the pulling it down being
accordingly provided in the Act of created by Act of Parliament

6. That the portion thus leased to the
crown be changed in lieu of the whole with the
obligation of receiving Rubbish: and that the
portion, reserved to the Dean and Chapter, be discharged
from every such obligation, should any such
be found to exist.
