This moment, ushered in introduced by a note from Messr | |||
Hallet Brothers and Co of this days date comes your | |||
two favours dated 26 August 1822!!! mentioned by them | |||
as only this day received by them. A day or two ago | |||
I received intimation from a friend of mine, that a | |||
friend of his whose name not mentioned is Walker, and who had already on a former occasion had visited | |||
Buenos Ayres, was to take his departure for that place | |||
as tomorrow, and that <gap/> if sent today he would take | |||
charge of any thing I might wish to send thither. | |||
The two articles in question were received by me are that letter of yours, | |||
and the printed State paper <gap/> Minute de reglamento | |||
... de la policia de la Sala &c. <gap/> | |||
Place yourself, Sir, in my situation and you will have may form | |||
some conception of the mixture of delight and regret | |||
with of which the assurance confidence you express of receiving speedy | |||
